I am a 25-year-old filmmaker based in San Francisco, and a recent UC Berkeley Haas School of Business alumnus. While my 9-5 is spent at a marketing/branding agency, filmmaking is my greatest passion and favorite way to bring my creative ideas to life.

What once started as a hobby for making travel videos has grown into a full-fledged, artistic adventure. In 2017, I was hired as a filmmaker for the University Health Services, UC Berkeley. With a team of other communications specialists, I created marketing videos to spread awareness of their healthcare services. On the side, I was also hired by student organizations all around campus to create engaging promotional videos.

During the pandemic, my filmmaking journey took a wild turn when I created a viral TikTok page sharing film fun facts and movie analyses. In 3 months, I amassed over 150k followers, numerous brand deals, and millions of views. It was one of the most creatively-fulfilling projects ever!

 

Today, filmmaking is still a treasured hobby of mine, and I pick up the camera whenever I have the time. Whether it's working on my next big idea or just capturing a moment in time, filmmaking will always be my greatest passion.
